This 2 1/2" x 6" cabinet scraper made by Bahco (formerly Sandvik) in Sweden is the most sought-after scraper in the woodworking trade. Formerly sold under the Sandvik name, it has the right thickness (0.85 mm) and hardness (around 60 on the Rockwell Scale) for long scraping operations without the need for resharpening. It is supplied with a plastic sleeve for safe storage without damaging the sharp edges. |

| We have found that this machinists smoothing tool works very well as a burnisher for Òturning the edgeÓ on cabinet scrapers. With an overall length of 4 inches and about 2 inches of concave shaped hardened steel tip (about 65 on Rockwell Scale) it really produces the cutting burr on a dull scraper edge after just a few strokes. The price is very reasonable too. |

| This holder is an idea companion to the cabinet scraper described above. ItÕs comfortable grip greatly reduces the fatigue caused by pushing a bent scraper over wood. | This set consists of 2 cabinet scrapers (0.02 and 0.04 inch thickness), a wooden scraper holder and a unique burnisher, all packed in a wooden lacquered presentation case. Ours are the only scrapers on the market made from tool grade stainless steel, the material used in making kitchen knives (hardness -45 on Rockwell scale). The heavier scraper is used for most scraping operations, the thinner one for final finishing. The wooden scraper holder is comfortable to sue and allows you t set the curvature on the scraper by a twist of the wooden screw. The unique burnisher has a high speed steel (Rockwell hardness 65) pin inserted through the bras rod. A few strokes of the hardened pin over the edge of the burnisher "turns the edge" easily and the resulting burr enables the scraper to take fine shavings of hard or soft woods.
